Another successful day on the two lane black top! Today at the TOU was a special day for me. This was my 4th time to run TOU and my 41st marathon overall. And if that wasn't enough, this was my 7th marathon in 8 months. Thats 5 BQ's out of 7 marathons run this year!

My goal for this race was to finish under 4 hours and save my tired, battered bod for the SGM in two weeks. Mission accomplished! My stress fractured feet and broken ribs seemed to have healed up enough that they didn't bother me...

I jumped into the 3:50:00 pace group that was being paced by Forum Flyer Canyon, by the way shes a great pacer! I stuck with her till about mile 15 where I began to get a bit weary.

I went 15 miles under 9 minutes and 11 miles over 9 minutes. Fastest 7.35 with a slowest at 9.41.

I am truly satisfied with this time and performance! Now its time to get recovered and ready to do a 3:30:00 at the St. George!!!!!!!

OK, thats keeping it short and sweet..........tyi!

Nice job!!! Sounds like it all worked out as planned.

What's this about broken ribs? I knew about the fractured foot, but not the ribs. How did that happen?

Classic Slickster at the finish! I love it! Glad you were able to put another notch on that belt and do it in good fashion as well. Shall we wager for the win at SGM? :)
