Fairly nice day for the Sandy City Classic 5k.....At the start it was 72*, no wind, and full sunshine with @25% humidity. The race for me was pretty much as expected except at the very end of the race some old guy drafted off me and managed to beat me by 01.0 seconds, he managed to get me by a step. Guess I need to pay attention to whos closing in on me! Anyway it was a great race and I came away with second in my old mans division with a 24:06.1 @ 7.53 minutes per mile average. Looks like I was able to shave off 1:22.6 min/sec off my Nestle 5k time on Jun 3, 2017 and 2:25.0 seconds off my last years time from Sandy City Classic 5k 2016. OK, I'm improving, which makes me feel really good about my training for the Huntsville Utah Full Monte Marathon. Yea!
