I finally got home and made it out on the road. Although it was pretty tough to stay running in a straight line with those vicious winds, and I'm greatful that it didn't start raining.....I made it a 10 miler.

10 miles in this WIND?!? That is about the equivalent of running a marathon! Holy moly man! My friend wanted me to run a mile with her this afternoon and I told her it wasn't worth the 'backwards' progress we'd make each step - and the dust in my eyes, ears, lungs and teeth. You get the 'tough as nails' award!!!

GOOD JOB getting her done! I don't think we'll have that kinda wind at UVM.

RAD - I didn't realize how bad the wind was when I took off for my run and after I was out there I figured I just had to finish. There were gusts that actually stopped me in my tracks.

SMOOTH - I really hope we have a very calm day for UVM, we really don't need the aggravation of running in bad weather.

T NA NA - Yes, I do believe I've got my eating habits under control again, I kept yesterdays caloric intake to just about 1000 cals. Now if I can keep it in line for the next 7 weeks. I want to weight 160 pounds for UVM and SGM. I can't believe all the dirt that I ate last night during my run. My eyes are blood shot from pulling all the junk out of my eyes last night and today...
