40 days 20 hours - Cowtown

 90 days - Boston

Today was a 10 mile hills/recover run in my black addictions on Dimple Dell Road! What a great day to run the two lane black top! 45 to 50 degrees, the sun was out, little or no wind and I was just a tad over dressed. Got'ter done....

Amen on the overdressed! I wished I had just a short sleeve shirt many times. It was a wonderful day to get some miles in on the blacktop!!

RAD - Yes, Yes, Yes!!! I wanted to toss the long sleeved shirt and tights for a short sleeved shirt and shorts.....Way to get out there and train where you race.

NICE hill run!

sounds like perfect weather.

You are gonna run 8 marathons this year?!!! YOU ROCK!!!

wish I was doing Cowtown!!! Can't believe they changed it to Sunday! I should've taken Marc's offer and ran it LAST year! O well!!! You will have so much fun!!! :)

From Tom Slick on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 18:31:46 from 69.171.160.20

Smooth - 8s the plan, and I might throw another one in Nov. Can't believe I waited this long to accept his generosity and come down to Texas and go for a little run with him!!!!

I'm sure you'll have an awesome time down there with Marc.

From MarcE on Mon, Jan 17, 2011 at 19:45:28 from 204.16.82.120

Sound like we had the same weather today. I ran my 10 miler in shorts and t-shirt.

I'm so glad you're coming out to visit Ft Worth next month and help me pace the 3:40 group!!!!!

We'll have to talk more in the coming weeks (by the way, Cowtown has a little "Goofy Challenge", if you want to run a 5K on Saturday, you'll get an extra medal on Sunday when you cross the line -- if you're interested, I might consider running a slow 5K on Saturday -- but not sure I want to fight the crowds/parking 2 days in a row.

Thanks again, Slick for taking up my offer. I'll check back often to see the countdown.
